Broadwood is the oldest piano company in the world, dating back to early in the 18th century. Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, many of the greatest pianists and composers owned or performed on Broadwood pianos, including Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt. Broadwoods were regarded as powerful and sturdy instruments, well-suited to concert use. This model is dated to the late 19th century.
